The Consulate

The Consulate General of Italy in Boston is situated in the heart of the financial district on the 17th floor of the Federal Reserve Bank Building, the third tallest building of the city of Boston. Built in the seventies, the Federal Reserve Building was designed by architect Hugh Stubbins Jr.. The outer aluminum lining and the unusual shape resembling a suspended building between two towers, immediately make it unmistakable among the metropolitan landscape. The offices of the Federal Reserve Bank and the New England Public Policy Center are, among others, tenants of the building.
